So, for quite a while now I've been getting this recurring ulcer at the very back of my mouth that corresponds with crazy ear pain and a terrible sore throat. The other night the pain was so bad that we had to go to the emergency room. They told me I had an abscessed tooth way in the back and to call a dentist in the morning. Turns out my upper left wisdom tooth has grown in at an angle and it has basically been scraping against my cheek tissue for quite some time. So now I have to get oral surgery to have it out on Friday. NOT looking forward to it. In fact, I'm terrified. I'm going to have a huge hole waaaaay in the back of my mouth, ugh. However, I am looking forward to getting rid of the chronic ear pain and sore throats! If only I had known this years ago, I could have saved myself a few years of frustration. Oh well, hopefully it won't be as traumatic as I'm expecting it to be. Till then I'll be on pain meds and delicately sipping soup. Oy.
